Description
The TERO Vocational Training Center is a free, intensive, hands-on construction training program to help Native Americans enter into the construction industry and build a stable, long-lasting career. The curriculum consists of in-shop training and “try-a-trade” days. Students earn a certificate from Renton Technical College or South Seattle Community College upon successful completion.

Who Can Use It
Any member of a federally recognized tribe, as well as their spouses, and their families.

How to Join
To join the program, you must first fill out an application, available at: https://tvtc.tulaliptero.com/Forms. If you don’t have access to a computer or smartphone, please call 360-716-4760.

Costs
There are no tuition costs.

What to Expect
After you complete the program, you’ll get employment assistance in the construction industry. You’ll be able to pursue your areas of interest, including Tribal employment opportunities, apprenticeship programs, or further educational opportunities.
