Description

The Tulalip WIC (Women, Infants, and Children) program offers nutrition support and education for women, infants, and young children. WIC connects families to prenatal care and provides immunizations and nutrition education. The program also focuses on preventing childhood obesity by encouraging healthier food choices and active lifestyles.

Who Can Use It
WIC serves pregnant women, new, postpartum breastfeeding mothers, and children under five, including those in foster care. Eligibility depends on household size and income. Fathers, grandparents, and other caregivers of eligible children can also sign up for WIC on behalf of the child. Many families on Medicaid, TANF, or Basic Food may qualify.

Now there is no one who could catch up with us.

There is something you can do.
Strong community connections are key to addressing this crisis. When neighbors and local groups unite, they create a support network that can identify and help those at risk. Small acts—checking in, sharing resources, offering support—make a real difference. These connections don’t just help in emergencies; they build resilience and prevent addiction from taking root.
