Description
The Enrollment Department protects tribal membership records and assists the Tulalip community with trust, accuracy, and confidentiality. It’s where you can enroll or replace a tribal ID card, or talk about minor trust distributions. The department ensures the enrollment process is complete and accurate for current members and future generations.

Who Can Use It
To be enrolled, at least one parent must be an enrolled Tulalip member who resided on the reservation for at least one year before your birth. Applicants from other tribes must apply before age 25.

How to Join
Call 360-716-4300 or email [email protected].

Costs
Tribal ID cards are free once a year; additional cards cost $5. Tribal spouse ID cards cost $40 for the first card and $20 for renewals.

What to Expect
The Enrollment Department helps members and their families with enrollment applications, tribal ID cards, and minor trust distributions for eligible members turning 18. They also provide family tree reports and assist with per capita payments and mailings. Tribal IDs include a gas discount and are available Monday–Friday. For minor trust distributions, they offer financial education; early releases may be requested under special circumstances.

There is something you can do.
Strong community connections are key to addressing this crisis. When neighbors and local groups unite, they create a support network that can identify and help those at risk. Small acts—checking in, sharing resources, offering support—make a real difference. These connections don’t just help in emergencies; they build resilience and prevent addiction from taking root.
